Leading Research and Development tax consultants Kene Partners engaged Incaloop at the point of inception to deliver a brand identity that would set them apart from their competition. Kene Partners launched with a vision to reimagine the R&D tax industry. The brief to Incaloop was to create a forward-thinking brand that mirrored the innovative nature of the work that R&D tax credits are in place to support. Kene Partner needed a brand that would give them a distinctive visual asset that represented their forward-thinking approach and clearly set them apart.
The Kene Partners brand needed to be able to compete with world-leading brands within the sector, while appealing to the next generation of business owners and decision-makers. Their competitor’s brands are, on the whole, very traditional, more aligned to the financial sector than toward the innovative businesses they are in place to support. We needed to ensure that we balanced trustworthy with progressive and accessible with aspirational.
Kene Partners is built on the belief that fresh thinking and agility is born from collaboration. We used a geometrically led approach to denote the collaboration between the triad of Kene Partners, client and industry. We carried the circle through to the wordmark which also acts as the domain name. We settled on a bright and distinctive teal for the main brand colour, which whilst nodding to the traditional and trusted blue of the tax industry, is a stark contrast to any of their competitors.
